BioEM2019 kicks off in Montpellier, under the joint effort of EuroMov and EuroStim.

The 2019 annual joint meeting of the Bioelectromagnetics Society (BEMS) and the European BioElectromagnetics Association (EBEA), locally organized by EuroMov (Univ. Montpellier) and its new startup EuroStim (A. Legros and his team), is being held at the Corum in Montpellier, from June 23rd to 28th, 2019.

BioEM2019 is expected to stimulate further research in the field of BioElectromagnetics through the exchange of ideas and invigorating discussions, consolidating the state-of-the-art knowledge, and identifying existing gaps to be filled.

The five-day program features invited plenary talks by world-renowned scientists in the field of Bioelectromagnetics, a variety of special sessions and panel discussions aligned with the most pressing issues in the field, as well as informative technical sessions, poster sessions, and social functions. The conference, counting 350 participants from 20 countries, aims at presenting and advancing high quality research in basic and applied science in Bioelectromagnetics to address medical applications, health concerns, and regulations associated with EMF.
