
The EuroMov lab was awarded of a funding of one of the three Post-doctoral fellowships from the Key Initiative MUSE Data & Life Sciences (Call from Montpellier University of Excellence).
The project is entitled: Motor signature extraction from video databases for personalized clinical protocols with robots in mental health. The aim of the project is to develop a personalized Robot coach to each patient (suffering from schizophrenia) in order to enhance his or her engagement in physical activity.
In a long term, this project will help extracting motor predictors increasing social interaction in patients.
This project requires a close collaboration of psychiatrists/clinician psychologists from the Unit of adult Psychiatry (Montpellier Hospital), roboticists (ETIS Lab Cergy-Pontoise) and scientists in human movement sciences from EuroMov (University of Montpellier).
